Beer

LIGHT SQUARED (4.25% ABV, 22 IBU's) A light colored ale designed and brewed to have a great hop and malt complexity, with ingredients coming from three different countries.
PARK AVENUE PALE ALE (5.5% ABV, 45 IBU’s) A copper colored ale, our Americanized version of the English classic. We use a variety of citrus and piney American hops for flavor and aroma.
WINTER ALE (5.5% ABV, 25 IBU’s) In the ‘Golden Era” of St. Louis (1890’s) this amber lager would have fit right in with some of the best known beers of the age. It is both balanced and extremely drinkable. Neither malt nor hops predominate making it very smooth yet deceptively complex.
I.P.A. (6.25% ABV, 65+ IBU’s) This full bodied dark golden ale is brewed with a larger proportion of hops and malts to give it a rich, malty taste & clean, bitter finish. Double dry hopping caps it off with a greater “punch” of hop aroma.
SINGLE MALT SCOTCH ALE (5.75% ABV, 25 IBU’s) A smoked barley malt ale with a rich caramel and toffee fullness, balanced by a mild hop finish.
IRISH STOUT (5.75% ABV, 30 IBU’s) Our version of a traditional dry stout, made famous by the Guinness brewery in Dublin. It is dark and drinkable with a hint of caramel and bittersweet chocolate in the finish.
MAPLE STOUT (5% ABV, 30 IBU’s) This beer has the full flavor of our stout with a light maple flavor in the finish.
TWICE THE VICE (6.75% ABV, 28 IBU’s) Our brewer, Dave Wohldmann’s take on a traditional English Milk Stout with the added twist of cold brewed La Cosecha coffee blended after fermentation. The addition of non-fermentable milk sugar in the kettle lends a smooth sweetness which helps balance the robust coffee finish.
WEALTHY BENEFACTOR (DOPPELBOCK) (8.25% ABV, 25 IBU’s) Although there is great debate as to the origin of the name Bock, no one disagrees with this double strength lagers’ character. It is rich and chewy, with a strong malt aroma, toasted biscuit-like flavor and full bodied warmth with hints of caramel, toffee and chocolate in the finish. Winter is coming St. Louis; be prepared with this beer.
DOUBLE PILSNER (9.1% ABV, 55 IBU’s) The beer is brewed following our standard, Southern German Pilsner recipe, but half the volume. This “doubling” up of the malt and hops produces a big lager with a strong malt backbone, balanced by a complex hop flavor, aroma and bitterness.
PATH OF ENLIGHTENMENT (10.2% ABV, 30 IBU’s) This golden brown ale is based on the Trappist monastery quadrupels of Belgium. It is filled with the aroma of ripe dates, apples and a hint of wine. The flavor starts with toffee, followed by the same ripe fruits and finishes slightly dry, yet with a full, creamy mouthfeel.
